Solventless Epoxy Primer

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

It is an epoxy-based, solvent-free, low viscosity, high strength two-component primer material and is used as a primer under epoxy paints, polyurethane paints and waterproofing products.

FEATURES:

• It creates an impermeable surface by filling the hairline cracks in the concrete with impregnation.
• It cures quickly and provides ease of application.

• Its adherence is strong. Provides protection against impacts.
• Provides water resistance.
• It is resistant to dilute acids and bases.
• When used as a top coat, it prevents dust formation.

USAGE AREAS:

• It is used as a primer before all epoxy and polyurethane based systems.
• It is used as an adherence enhancer before Epoxy Floor and Wall Paint applications.
• It is used as a mechanical resistance enhancer.
• It is applied to mineral surfaces such as concrete and screed.
• It is used to protect mineral surfaces such as concrete and screed against abrasion and dust.
• It is used indoors and outdoors.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS:

Surface; It must be cured, dry and sound. It should be cleaned of any residues such as oil, grease, dirt, paint, salt vomit that would prevent adhesion. If there are cracks or breaks on the surface, NOTTE EPOXY PUTTY  or POLYURETHAN MASTIC ; If the application will be made in environments exposed to high sulphate such as sea water and sewage, it should be repaired with  resin-based repair mortars at least 24 hours in advance. The application surface should be flat and unsloped.

APPLICATION EQUIPMENT:

Hand mixer

Roller, Brush, squeegee, steel trowel

On very absorbent surfaces, the second coat can be applied 3-5 hours after the first coat application. Then, EPOXY based products can be applied safely to the surface. LIMITATIONS:

To obtain optimum quality, please adhere to the application instructions. Application should not be made in very high temperatures, direct exposure to sunlight, very windy or rainy weather. Application should not be made on surfaces that are at risk of frost at the time of application. The applied area should not be exposed to traffic until full cure is achieved. Application should be made between +5 C and +25 C. Application should never be made at temperatures below 5 C.

CONSUMPTION:

100-200 gr/m2 in one coat, depending on the absorbency of the surface

SHELF LIFE:

It is 1 year from the date of production in its original packaging in moisture-free and dry environments (temperature between +5 C and +25 C). The mouth of the containers should be tightly closed when not in use. It should be kept away from moisture.

STORAGE CONDITIONS:

It should be stored in its unopened original packaging in a moisture-free, dry and cool environment (temperature between +5 C and +25 C). It should not be left under direct sunlight.
